Join natural dyer, Alyx Jacobs at Powell Gardens to explore the beautiful art of eco-printing. This class will demonstrate how to print leaves and flowers from the native plants around the gardens onto fiber. Allow yourself to play and experiment to see what colors and prints can be made from the different plants. Eco-printing is a great way to breathe new life into your wardrobe or for creating new works of art. You will leave this workshop with an eco-printed silk scarf and test prints. Attendees will also receive Powell Gardens' Midwest Foraging Booklet to take home, which features over 30 plants with information on how to prepare and eat your foraged finds!
