Dragon Fire: Summer Solstice Celebration

Ignite the longest day of the year with a fiery solstice celebration at Powell Gardens. Enjoy live music and the enchanting glow of a lantern release over the pond. Celebrate the summer solstice with a night of myth, magic, and midsummer energy that brings the spirit of dragons to life. 

Tickets include live music, one signature drink, and one water lantern. Food, beverages, and additional water lanterns are available for purchase.  

**ADMISSION IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS OPTIONAL ADD-ON DRAGON FIRE MENU TICKET. 

The lantern are available to light and float on the Pond throughout the night. The live music is from 5-7pm, The KU Chinese lions will be roaming around in the Gardens starting around 7pm with a Drum and Confetti show at 8pm at the East lawn, roaming around the gardens until 9pm. Dragon Fire Feast is an extra add-on ticket and will run in the Terrace room 6:30-8:30pm. And the Dragon and Fantastic Beasts exhibit runs the whole night.   • Food add-on does not include admission. Add on with the admission type.

Garden Closures

  • Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel will be closed during the whole event

 

TICKET POLICY

By purchasing ticket(s) you understand and agree to the following: 

  • Online advanced purchase is recommended.
  • Upon arrival, have your eTickets ready to be scanned at the Gatehouse.
  • Your eTickets will display the time the Gardens open. You do not have to arrive at that time, however, last entry is 30 minutes prior to the Gardens closing. 
  • MEMBERS:
    • Members are required to purchase tickets for this event. 
  • Tickets are non-refundable. 
  • A $2.00 processing fee applies to each transaction.

  • Photography Waiver:

I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) my family members, and further release and discharge Powell Gardens for injury, loss or damage arising out of my or my family's use of or presence upon the facilities of Powell Gardens, whether caused by the fault of myself, my family, Powell Gardens or other third parties.
    • Indemnification. I agree to indemnify and defend Powell Gardens against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may in any way arise from my or my family's use of or presence upon the facilities of Powell Gardens.
