LOCATION ALERT: This workshop will be held at our Powell Gardens Colonial Farms location in Blue Springs, Missouri. Meet in the Courtyard before venturing into the orchard.
Create your own apple tree! In this workshop participants will learn about the basics of fruit tree grafting with a focus on hands on practice of whip and tongue bench grafting. One newly self-grafted apple tree is included in the ticket price. Additional rootstock and scion wood available for purchase.
The class is lead by Mike Hughes, proprietor of 39th Parallel Nursery and Orchard and Skyler Adamson, of Lawrence Fruit Tree Project, both of Lawrence, KS.
